Hotel com excelente vista e que sediou a reunião do G-7, em 2023

Hotel em belíssima localização cênica e famoso por ter sediado a 49.ª Cúpula dos Países Desenvolvidos, a Reunião do G7, em maio/2023. Por isso, ainda se encontram expostos as fotos e painéis do evento, bem como parte da decoração. Tem uma vista espetacular por ficar em frente à baía de Hiroshima (mar interior de Seto). É um hotel muito grande, com um belo e enorme lobby com uma fonte central. O nosso quarto era espaçoso, com camas grandes, boas roupas de cama e toalhas e travesseiros macios. Estava equipado com frigobar, televisão de tela plana, chaleira elétrica, wifi e ar condicionado central. Banheiro de bom tamanho, com todos os itens de higiene pessoal, chinelos e pijamas. Ótimo café da manhã, com opções oriental e ocidental, além da vista maravilhosa observada do salão que nos atendeu. São vários salões de café, mas nem todos funcionam simultâneamente, por isso costumam lotar logo ao abrir. Caso tenha horário a cumprir, recomenda-se chegar antes da abertura. Uma observação importante: o hotel não fica próximo de área comercial ou de opções de alimentação. As alternativas são os restaurantes do hotel, com a ressalva de que nem todos funcionam juntos e os que funcionam, tem horário de funcionamento restrito. Em último caso, pode-se lançar mão do que se encontrar na loja de conveniência dentro do hotel, que tem o básico, inclusive bebidas. Alertamos também que a academia e a piscina são pagas. O hotel tem uma pequena praia particular e um pier próprio, de onde saem os barcos que levam à ilha de Miyajima (importante conferir dias e horários das partidas), facilitando o acesso à essa outra atração imperdível de Hiroshima. Estivemos nesse hotel, juntamente com a esposa, em março/2025 e recomendamos.

What a crap place. They show a lot of restaurants but they are all closedown, except one that closes at 6 pm and one that maybe is open a bit later. Fancy rooftop bar that was closed when I went at 9:30. Middle of nowhere as to any other option. I came with a tour group and will flunk them, for dumping us here. Extra charge for onset. Just say no.

Nice hotel

Stayed on the 7th floor in a twin bed room. Beds were hard. Room was extremely hot and we could not turn the heat down. Spoke with front desk who told us they are hot rooms and the air conditioning does not have cooling. So they gave us a fan. Never heard of hotel rooms that can not have cool air conditioning. Breakfast was good. Dinner buffet was excellent. Not convenient to get to and from but was nice on the waterfront. Overall hotel was nice to stay for 2 nights.

友人と2泊3日の広島旅行をすることになり、1泊目のホテルは私が決めました。3，4のホテルで検討した結果、部屋からの景色に惹かれ、グランドプリンスにしました。海側限定で予約したのですが、アップグレードしてもらったので、2面窓でそこから素晴らしい海の景色が広がっていました。浴室も海に面していて、快適でした。 　夕朝食付きのプランで、夕食はビュッフェでしたが、朝食はビュッフェとなだ万の和定食から選択できるようになっていたのが良かったです。ビュッフェはお料理の種類も多く、蟹と牡蠣は食べ放題でした。70代以上と見られる女性のグループが多かったので、驚いたのですが、蟹、牡蠣の食べ放題が目当てだったかもしれません。 　レセプション、グラブラウンジ、レストランのスタッフは、皆さん、丁寧で感じがよかったです。さすがサミットが行われたホテルのスタッフとだと思いました。

Stunning views over the water

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights last month as a base whilst visiting Hiroshima. The location is down by the harbour so quite a way out from the city centre. We reached it by taking a tram from the station and walking the rest of the way, however the hotel do have a shuttle bus to and from Hiroshima Station, which we only found out about when we arrived! The reception area is quite impressive with a large fountain/water feature and the hotel was the host of the G7 Summit in 2023, something they seem to be rather proud of and still milking after two years!! Various pictures and memorabilia of the world leaders can be found around the hotel as well as the platform they all stood on outside! We booked a sea view room and the view did not disappoint. The room and en-suite bathroom was of a good size although could do with a bit of updating. Breakfast was served in the rooftop restaurant and choices of cuisine were plentiful. The views were stunning. As this hotel is away from the city centre, the choices of eating establishments were limited to the hotel. On our first night we did try the beef restaurant. We didn't have a reservation as we'd only just arrived so we were led into a "waiting room" for about 5 minutes only to be escorted out to a table in an empty restaurant - quite bizarre!!! However, although the food was nice and pretty, there wasn't much on the plate and was somewhat overpriced so we didn't dine in the hotel after that. If we were to visit Hiroshima again, we would probably stay nearer the city centre but having said that, this is a very nice hotel.
