仕事で利用するには申し分ありません。 お部屋の中も清潔ですし、朝食も素晴らしい。 ただ、気にならない方は気にならないとは思いますが、部屋の鍵がカードじゃなくて昔ながらの鍵なのはちょっと気になりました。 テレビのリモコンが上手く使えませんでした。 ※これは私の使い方が悪い可能性も充分にあります。

立地が良いです

高知駅とはりやま橋の中間位のところにあり、ひろめ市場や高知城までも徒歩15分くらいなのでアクセスがしやすいと思います。建物は本館と禁煙館に分かれています。禁煙館はフロントが無人ですが、ルームキーがないと自動ドアが開かない仕組みです。建物は古く部屋も狭いので仕方ないですが、バスタブとデスクが小さく、椅子に背もたれがないのは残念でした。良かったのは朝食で、美味しかったです。

Great Service at a Reasonable Price

This hotel is located in a very central area of Kochi city, and is very reasonably priced for all that. It is in an older building, and this is more noticeable once you get into the rooms. But they make up for it with both a beautiful lobby and excellent service. We drove into the city, and so had to worry about parking the car, always a concern in a central location where space is at a premium. I went in the hotel as my wife waited to ask about parking, and instead of the confused “you’re on your own” look I might expect from some places, the guy behind the desk came out to the car with me, plus an A4 sized card detailing the route to the parking garage they had an arrangement with. (There is a closer garage, but it only is used for smaller cars). We found our parking space, and were able to show the A4 card to a waiting taxi driver who drove us back to the hotel (a few blocks), saving us the trouble of a long walk with luggage. I was duly impressed. It’s the sort of service I’d expect for a much higher end hotel. And it saved us a lot of worry about the parking situation. With our hotel stay, the fee was only 700 yen for the night. We were checked in without trouble, and got an actual physical key to our room. The rooms are somewhat small, and hardly echo the gilt of the lobby. But they are good enough. Although the hallway carpet could use replacement, the room itself was clean and had everything one would need for a stay. If I had any quibbles, is was that our bed for two was up against the wall, and for the person on that side, there was no little shelf for things like one’s glasses, phone, and all that sort of stuff you’d like to have within reach as you sleep. The hotel has amenities in the lobby if you so choose to take some. A set of pajamas, toothbrushes, washcloths, etc. There is even a “shampoo bar” that comes with the price of the room. They give you 2 little bottles, and you can take samples of the shampoo and conditioner if you would like. (there are a dozen brands or so). Of course, you are not obligated to take it if you prefer (for environmental reasons) to use the shampoo in the rooms. The hotel is located in a rather busy area for nightlife, which is in a lot of ways great. There is no shortage of restaurants and bars in the area. The shopping arcade is not far away, nor is the popular Hirome Market, a good place to get dinner. Also, the famous Sunday Morning Street Market is just a few blocks away. Although there is a nice-looking Italian restaurant attached to the lobby, we did not try it as we were hoping to sample more of the locally famous cuisine. There is also a breakfast option you can get for an additional fee, but we opted to try our hand at the street market instead. A nearby convenience store is also an option. If there was a one drawback, it is that this is not a quiet neighborhood on a Saturday night. Although it did not keep me awake, there is a certain amount of street noise on a Saturday night. But if you are in this place to be at the center of Kochi, it’s to be expected. There are some smoking rooms in the hotel, but the 6th-8th floor are nonsmoking, and I noticed no scent in our room (other reviews have complained of such). It’s my understanding that the hotel annex across the street is entirely non-smoking. In any case, I found that for business-hotel prices, the place was pretty nice and the service was great.

繁華街にも高知駅にも近い立地で移動しやすかった。素泊まり料金も近隣ホテルに比べると圧倒的に安い。建物は古いが部屋の広さと設備は十分。 残念なのは禁煙ルーム希望で予約をしていたにも関わらず部屋がタバコ臭く、灰皿も置いてあったことである。道路を挟んだ所に禁煙棟があるのを発見し、より残念に感じた。（荷物を広げて洗面室を利用した後だったためフロントに部屋の交換を申し出ることができなかった。）

こんなにヒドいホテル、初めてでした。 写真は、詐欺画像に近い！ 実際は、ショボすぎる、、、 朝食もまずーーーい！ 逆に、仕事なのによくあんなに不味く作れるのか？ また、レストランでトレイに入れてたら、女性従業員に睨みがちに下から上まで見られた。怖すぎる！ まだ、私たちお客が食事しているのにも関わらず、８時半頃 姿は見えないが、大きな肥で喋りまくりの笑い。 うるさい！朝は静かに過ごしたいのに。ここは家じゃないですよ！
