仕事で２泊しました。高松は初めてでしたが、高松駅近だとここくらいしか選択肢がありません。ただ空港からホテルまでバスもあってアクセスは悪くありません。サービスはビジネスホテル＋αくらいですが（ルームサービスも朝食だけだったような）、取り立てて悪いところもなく、また高松へ出張の際はここを利用すると思います。

Great views, comfortable room, ideal location

I love this hotel, and much enjoyed four nights there in November - my sixth stay! I had a view of the castle, as requested, and it was a great one which gave me a lot of pleasure. I could also see some of the sea and port area, and from the nice deep bath, the station, city and mountains. The standard double room was a moderate size, but comfortable with a table and two lounge chairs and well as reasonably good desk space and a desk chair. The desk lamp was usefully bright. More power sockets above ground level would've been helpful as there was only one (apart from those already being used for the tv and fridge). The electric jug was too big to fill properly from the sink tap, and slow to boil. Something more compact would be more efficient. There was one set of three drawers and adequate hanging space. Wifi worked well. The retractable clothesline in the bathroom, and complimentary bottles of water and a newspaper each day were appreciated. Breakfasts had a great range of choices, and everything I tried tasted good. Staff were pleasant and professional. The hotel is in the ideal position, across the road from the castle, the port, and the beautiful Seto Inland Sea. It's very close to both railway stations, the bus hub, taxi rank and ferry docks. Ritsurin Garden is a couple of kilometres away, and you can walk via the city's very long shopping arcade should you wish to. The hotel has restaurants, a gift shop and an excellent patisserie, and there are other shopping and eating options close by too. Looking forward to returning!

A Fine, Convenient Hotel

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. We stayed two nights in a standard room, with breakfast. The room was large, with an excellent view out over the castle ruins and the seafront. There were oversize single beds, firm and very comfortable, 3 chairs, a good desk work area, an empty refrigerator, a curious vessel to make tea, lots of drawer and counter space. The bathroom area was conventional, but with a large sink with plenty of room for toiletries. The lighting, both in the bathroom and the bedroom was excellent. There were enough plugs to charge things (one cleverly hidden on the back of the desk). Wi-fi was quick and reliable and never cut out. Particularly notable were the pyjamas provided, with blue-and-white striped middie tops. Breakfast was in the first-floor restaurant Vent, an excellent buffet of Japanese and western dishes, which included some local specialties. A number of delicacies were served on small fancy plates. Outstanding were a little sweet potato french toast, with a bit of whipped cream and shiso, and the rice and barley congee with mushrooms and individual toppings.

JR clement vs JR clement inn

I like the inn better due to the sitting area that provides free coffee and hot water. The plug next to bed is also convenient for me. I did try the Japanese restaurant in this JR clement hotel, it’s nice , the kaiseki using local ingredients. It’s good. I believe if you pay more, you can see the castle from your room

Fabulous position by the port and amazing staff. The bakery on the ground floor is stunning and Diwash Bhandari on reception stands out, he's unbelievably kind and the most efficient and knowledgeable soul. He made my holiday special. Thank you!
