小さなお子様がいるご家庭にはお勧めできる大規模リゾートホテル

22歳の甥を連れて三泊しました。マリオットボンヴォイのチタンエリート資格で事前にアップグレードを申請したところ本館最上階（9F)のロフト形式のスイートタイプで一階には布団ベッド三人分、ロフトにはクイーンサイズのベッド一台、各階にトイレとクローゼットがある広々としたお部屋にしていただけました。 本館は建物の構造上、ビーチに対してどの部屋も正面は向いていないので、オーシャンフロントと呼べるのか微妙な部屋もありますが、ビーチ側から二つ目の部屋でしたので部屋からはもちろん、広々としたバルコニーからも美しい海の景色を存分に楽しむことが出来ました。 プラチナエリート会員以上が使えるクラブラウンジ1Fロビーにあり、16～18時までのカクテルアワーで利用させていただきました。 レストランではディナービュッフェを頂きましたが、一人5600円と比較的リーゾナブルであるものの、味はごく普通。料理のバリエーションはやや乏しいといった印象・・特に南国ならではのフルーツの種類が少ないのが残念でした。 朝食も同じレストランで頂きましたが、こちらもビュッフェ形式でありながら種類は少し物足りず、特にバナナが提供されないなど、フルーツの種類の少なさが気になりました。 プラチナエリート会員以上には無償で提供されるリゾートパスは、別棟にある屋内プールやウォータースライダー、大浴場（温泉ではない！）などを利用されるご家族には有り難い特典だと思います。 ラスベガスにある老舗ホテル、ルクソールを彷彿させる三角形状の本館デザインはバブル期の多少の年季は感じるものの、吹き抜け構造のロビーフロア、魚やヒトデ、ナマコなどがいる池などリゾート感は満喫できます。 ビーチは泳げる範囲は多少狭いなあとは思いましたが、公式サイトのトップに出てくる長い桟橋から眺める美しい海、ジップライン、バナナボート、サンセットクルーズ、グラスボートなど別料金ながらもアクティビティの種類は多いのでお子様連れのファミリーには十分に楽しめるかと思います。 ちなみに我々はレンタカー無しで三泊したのですが、空港エアポートシャトルバスで1時間半、路線バスでも2時間で那覇空港まで迎えますし、その途中に国際通りといった沖縄を代表する繁華街にも何とか辿り着け、ホテルから路線バスで20分程度で万座毛にも行けましたので車が無くてもそこまで不便だとは思いませんでした。但し、バスツアーなどに参加する場合は大抵のツアーが国際通りの入り口の県庁前に朝早く集合となるので、こちらのホテルに宿泊しての参加は厳しいかと思われます。 外観には年季が入っていながらもお部屋の中身はしっかり改装されており、フロントを始め、ドアマン、お掃除のスタッフなど皆さんとても対応が良く気持ち良く過ごせました。 ホテルの敷地を出て通りを挟んだところに多少の沖縄土産も購入出来るファミリーマートもあり便利です。但し、お食事処がホテル以外では徒歩圏では居酒屋や焼き肉、しゃぶしゃぶのお店しか無く、例えば一週間滞在などでは困るかなあと思った次第です。

The best staff and a beautiful resort!!! We stayed few times and we love it!! Special thank you to Shunsuke Akiyoshi who made our accommodation in this hotel the best . The hotel staff is a best. On scale 100 I would give 300 and more. They made our stay unforgettable . I would recommend this resort for top notch!!! Thank you!!! You are the best!!!

Suitable resort for families with small children, but think twice if you want to relax without children.

We’re family of 5, with 3 young adults, planned to dive, so we chose to stay at this resort. We had 2 rooms, and it was spacious with 3 comfortable, and not too narrow, beds in each room. The location was close to the diving spot, the Blue cave. We loved the fact that the hotel had private beach and pool area with lots of facilities. What we didn’t expect is the amount of guests with small children. It looked like the hotel focused so much on that customer group, that it felt wrong for us to stay there. The service at the restaurant was lacking. We had to wait a long time before being serviced, especially with the a la carte option. The best would be the buffet. What is important for us after diving, is to dine at the hotel, and relax afterwards, but we had to dine outside the hotel. Otherwise, the service was top notch. The hot spring is not huge, but it’s high standard. My recommendation would be, if you don’t have any small children, it would be wise to choose another place. They were allowing children to play the piano, so the trip was rather stressful than relaxing.

チタン会員で2部屋予約しました。2部屋とも新館にアップグレードしていただきありがとうございました。親を連れての旅行で全員が満足できました。天気が悪くジップラインに乗れなかったが心残り。

Disappointing

A very disappointing experience by a Sheraton brand resort, for the following reasons: 1. The AC in both rooms we booked are not working. Even when set to 18 deg, we have had to open the balcony windows to ventilate the room. Stuffy and difficult to sleep. 2. The TV entertainment system is very outdated, with only one English news channel and no movie channels. The TV is an old desktop desk, not the smart TV that many equivalent class hotels are already offering. 3. The quality of the food at the buffet breakfast is mediocre. The quality of the hotel is not worth the price it charges. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Okinawa.
